Error Downloading from wGT3X-BT and wActiSleep-BT devices

Latest Update: ActiGraph has released ActiLife version 6.11.2 which resolves this issue fully.

 

What is the problem?

When downloading devices with serial numbers beginning with MOS2A or MOS4A, ActiLife crashes, throwing a "Control Transfer Failed" error similar to the one shown below.  Downloads cannot complete.

What Can I do? 

ActiLife BETA release 6.11.2.575 contains a work-around for this issue.  Download the latest BETA at http://support.theactigraph.com/downloads/getlatestbeta, install it and retry the download.  

What will happen next?

ActiGraph is in the process of testing and releasing ActiLife version 6.11.2.  Your current version of ActiLife will automatically update to this version.  Continue utilizing your devices and software as normal.

[7/14/2014 @ 08:00 CST] - ActiGraph engineers have identified a possible work-around for this issue.  In order to download data from devices exhibiting this error, download and install the latest ActiLife Beta (http://support.theactigraph.com/downloads/getlatestbeta).  We are working on a permanent fix.

[7/16/2014 @ 11:41 CST] - ActiLife BETA release 6.11.2.575 or later contains a workaround for this issue.  Customers should continue using firmware 1.2.0 along with the BETA release (http://support.theactigraph.com/downloads/getlatestbeta).  ActiGraph will release a fully tested version of ActiLife (6.11.2) very soon so that all users will be automatically updated.
